Like the native new zealand owl or ruru which is regarded as the guardian of the area, we see ourselves as guardians of the integrity and purity of our precious spring water source: The Blue Spring. We have invested in establishing our state-of-the-art bottling plant, which lies at the source, and which is certified by the Australasian Bottled Water Institute Inc. (ABWI) – and which meets the rigorous standards they set in place. Within the area where our water is bottled, we have set-up an efficient “clean room environment”, which is actually kept as sterile as a hospital operating theatre. |
The whole area and plant is also infused with positive air pressure, which discourages any contamination of the air within the plant. Along with this purity and protection, we have put in place measures which conform to the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) guidelines, and its seven key principles. This has enabled us to effectively identify, monitor and address any key issues and hazards that we encounter in our operations, or that may compromise the purity of our water. |
